Surrounded by an arid plateau & restricted to the south by a deep canyon, the Domaine Le Cazal is perched on the top of a hill which overhangs the Minervois slopes at the southern tip of the Herault (34).
It is on this chalky-clayey & stony land that the Derroja family have worked, since 1870, on their 18 hectares of vineyard which is classified as 100% AOC Minervois.

Tradition & passion, together with contempary concepts, are combined to produce the red wines, of which the principal denominators are :

• Finesse,

• powerful,
• aromatic complexity,
• range of spices &
• small red fruits.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our cool wine cellar, which was the old wash house of the hamlet, or take a stroll through our vineyards where you will discover our art of winemaking & taste our wines.
You may also stay in one of our ‘gîtes’ (cottages) where you will be able to recharge your batteries in our haven of peace & share some moments with our family.
